The festive season is a key trading period for many brands in the fashion and retail industry, so engaging your Facebook fan base in the run up to Christmas is essential to help generate sales. Take a look at these three Facebook campaigns we’ve developed especially for fashion and retail brands – designing, building and launching a successful app takes time, so decide on your plan of action now.
1. The Festive Mood Board – a creative and engaging Facebook promotion that showcases new ranges, drives community growth and lets you know more about what potential customers want for Christmas. This high quality application will be designed to meet your brand requirements and enable users to pull together their own festive look or Christmas wishlist using real items and other inspiration. Incorporated within the app are clear, strong calls to action. The mood board will be empty at the start and users will select images from the sidebar to add to it. It could even include an exclusive ‘sneak peek’ using items from a range that is soon to launch or products available exclusively online. By completing the form and submitting their board, users can enter a competition to win their favourite products. Post entry call to action will include the option to share their board with friends. Entries could be judged by fashion/lifestyle bloggers.
2. The Festive Quiz – a fun and interactive Facebook quiz that lets you find out which seasonal lines your fans are coveting most. We would ask a series of questions, enabling the user to select their favourite choice.
3. What’s Your Festive Inspiration? – a creative photo submission application that leverages mobile tech to connect your brand to what inspires your customers’ shopping choices at Christmas. We’ll design and build a high quality, customised and branded micro-site interface that’s integrated into Facebook. Entrants take and share pictures of their inspiration, which could be anything from textures and patterns to people, places and things (like snowflakes, fur lined boots, shiny paper and party dresses). Using a hashtag, entries can come from phone or direct upload, as well as Instagram and Twitter with submitted images being displayed in a gallery. Possible hashtags could include #inspiredbyfashion or #inspiredby(your brand).
