Visit Malta teamed up with Digital Visitor to create and implement a Social campaign to promote and advance Malta as a tourism destination to a wider audience.
Tasked with growing Visit Malta’s fan base on Facebook and driving more traffic from social sources, we created a campaign that innovatively optimised participation and engagement through a bespoke multilingual app page hosted on the Visit Malta website.
Working with Digital Visitor was a positive experience. They went overboard to serve our needs and requirements and were consistent at all stages of the initiative – pre, during and post. Their reporting on findings post action has been detailed and in depth.
We designed and built an online application that enabled users to win gifts every day on Visit Malta’s advent calendar tree. There were 23 daily prizes to be won and one main prize to win a 5 star holiday for four to Malta.
Delivered through Visit Malta’s Facebook page and accessible online and on mobile, Visit Malta’s advent calendar app succeeded in raising awareness for Malta as a great tourist destination. To further ensure the campaign’s success, Digital Visitor delivered our targeted advertising, maximising entrants and audience exposure, delivering the perfect new customer opportunities for Visit Malta.
