Seeking to raise awareness of its new Southeast Asia cruise destinations, Voyages to Antiquity (VTA) came on board with Digital Visitor to create and implement a promotional social media campaign.
With the aim of growing Voyages to Antiquity’s fanbase we created a highly targeted campaign, designed to educate users about their range of cruise destinations with eye-catching and compelling imagery.

Working with our designers, our digital team crafted an interactive quiz app to sit within the VTA Facebook page. Offered the chance to ‘Win The Voyage of a Lifetime’, users were encouraged to take the quiz and fill in their details to enter.
Using targeted copy and inspirational visuals, the app drove high levels of engagement, amassing over 3,000 entries.
To maximise the value of entries for VTA, we created a bespoke opt-in data form, which resulted in the capture of nearly 2,500 emails and over 1,200 phone numbers for future marketing efforts.
To generate wider interest in VTA and the central campaign app, we ran a number of highly targeted Facebook advertising campaigns aimed at delivering the highest click through rate possible.
With a total of 5,654 clicks from 250,000 impressions, our visually engaging Facebook ads achieved a campaign-wide click through rate (CTR) of 2.3%; a significantly higher figure than industry standards.
Following on from VTA’s successful Facebook campaign, we created and implemented two email campaigns to drive cruise brochure signups via the website.
Carefully designed, our emails achieved open and click through rates far in excess of industry averages.
In using a cleverly designed Facebook campaign, alongside highly-targeted ads and email marketing, we succeeded in promoting VTA’s cruise destinations, securing a greater audience for future campaigns.
