Digital Visitor, a leading marketing agency within the travel and tourism sector, are looking for a Junior Finance Assistant to join the team and help ensure that our accounts and invoicing processes run smoothly and efficiently.
As our Junior Finance Assistant, your duties will be diverse and varied, with the overall aim being to provide support to the finance function of Digital Visitor. Your accountabilities will include a number of tasks, from sending client invoices and compiling staff expenses to assisting on credit control and reconciling the petty cash tin. You will also be required to support the Finance Assistant and Head of Finance with any ad hoc tasks as required.
To succeed in this role, you will be naturally inquisitive with an analytical approach to financial matters within the business – it goes without saying that attention to detail and a good degree of accuracy are essential elements. Candidates should have a proactive approach and a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to identify and solve problems in a considered manner.
As an integral part of our finance team, the role will require excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work efficiently. This is a great opportunity to learn about how a finance office needs to work and provide strong administrative support.
