We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for Best National Tourism Board or DMO Campaign Award in the WTM International Travel and Tourism Awards 2018. The awards celebrate the success of national, regional and city tourist boards, and recognise outstanding companies and individuals.

We’re listed for our work with the Japan National Tourist Organisation – a multi-channel campaign to increase destination awareness and grow revenue in the UK. The UK is at the heart of Japan’s ambitions to welcome 40 million tourists by 2020, as the country gears up to host the next Olympic Games.

Our aim was to educate a whole new audience about the surprising and exciting experiences Japan can offer. Our innovative and creative use of content generated a return on investment for our client of well over 1,000% – and the combination of activity across multiple channels over-achieved on every target we were set.

We’re proud of those results, and hope success and recognition at these prestigious awards in November will be the icing on the cake. The finalists have been chosen from more than 100 travel and tourism businesses that entered across the 13 award categories. The winners will be announced to an audience of more than 500 leading industry figures – including government ministers – during the ceremony at London’s Grade I-listed Tobacco Dock, not far from WTM London’s ExCeL venue.
